We understand that our students balance rigorous athletic training, frequent tournament travel, and strong academic standards simultaneously. Our program operates on a 4-Day Training / 1-Day Recovery model — Monday through Thursday features a fixed midday training block, while Fridays are entirely dedicated to physical recovery, academic completion, and teacher support.

Our core schedule anchors the day around a mandatory 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM training block. All academic work is self-paced and wraps around this athletic commitment, giving students flexibility in both the morning and afternoon.

Academics
Students log into their online platform and work through self-paced coursework in Math, Reading, Science, or Social Studies at their own pace and in any order.
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Athletics
Mandatory Training Block Sport-specific training (Soccer or Basketball) with EAS coaches. This is the anchor of every weekday.
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Nutrition
Lunch, hydration, and mental reset. Students decompress and fuel properly for the afternoon academic block.

Afternoon Flex
Academics & Support
Students complete remaining coursework for the day. Optional teacher check-ins (up to 2× per week) available for extra support.

REST, RECOVERY & SUBMISSION DAY
Focus Fridays
Competitive athletes need time to let their bodies recover — especially before weekend tournaments. There is no athletic training on Fridays. Instead, Friday is a structured recovery and academic wrap-up day built around four clear expectations.
Physical Recovery
Full rest day to allow the body to recover and prepare for weekend games or tournaments. No training scheduled.
Teacher Check-In
Prime window for optional 1-on-1 virtual teacher meetings for academic support, feedback, and review.
Assignment Submission
All weekly work for Math, Reading, Science, and Social Studies must be submitted by end of day Friday.
Weekly Reflection
Students complete the End-of-Week Reflection on their Monday Success Map to set intentions for the following
week.

Travel Protocol
Many EAS students travel frequently for elite tournaments. Our self-paced, fully online academic model ensures that travel is a feature of our program — not a disruption.
Work from Anywhere
All four core subjects are fully online. Students complete assignments from a hotel room, airport, or team bus — any time, any place.
Flexible Deadlines
Traveling on Thursday or Friday? Deadlines adjust with prior teacher notification. No student is penalized for tournament travel.
No Missed Classes
There are no live lectures to miss. Students shift Morning or Afternoon Flex hours to fit their travel itinerary seamlessly.
Tournament = Training
Competition counts toward weekly athletic training hours. Coaches document all tournament participation on record.
